Fig Tree Heavy Fruit Fern Forest Jinan

Midsummer rain falls steadily over a fig tree laden with heavy, dark purple fruit. The branches droop slightly under the weight of the clusters. Below, a dense carpet of green ferns covers the forest floor near Jinan. Flat noon light cuts through the gray sky, creating a harsh, even glare that reflects off the wet leaves. The rain creates small, distinct ripples on the broad surfaces of the foliage. The composition remains minimalist, isolating the tree against a soft, blurred background of distant trees. Raindrops rest on the tips of the fern fronds. at the edge shows water streaming down the smooth, gray bark of the trunk.
