Silhouetted Tree Fern Against City Lights After Rain

Dark fronds of a towering tree fern rise sharply against a soft, glowing horizon where city lights begin to ignite. The canopy forms a jagged silhouette over a wet floodplain, its surface mirroring the faint urban glow in rippled sheets. Early spring air hangs heavy with sea spray, clinging to the fern's textured trunk and turning the edges of the leaves into glistening threads. The ground below reflects the fading twilight and artificial illumination, creating a seamless blend of natural and man-made light. Puddles scatter the foreground, each holding a miniature reflection of the fern's intricate structure. One droplet slides from the lowest frond, tracing a path down the rough, fibrous bark before vanishing into the dark, wet earth.
