Dragonfish Glowing Barbel at Nautical Dawn

Rain-slicked ocean surface breaks under the first pale rays of sunrise near Honolulu. A deep sea dragonfish hovers in the water column, its dark scales absorbing the dim morning light. A slender barbel extends from its chin, emitting a steady, cool blue glow that illuminates suspended particles around it. Tiny specks of water and organic matter glitter like scattered diamonds in the beam. The fish remains motionless, its large eyes reflecting the fading night sky. Water droplets rest on the surface ripples, catching the soft pink and orange hues of the rising sun. The glowing barbel casts a faint, shifting shadow on the murky depths below, while the rain creates a gentle, rhythmic texture on the sea.
