Dewdrop on Cobweb Reflecting Sky

A spherical dewdrop clings to a single, nearly invisible strand of spider silk stretched across rough, lichen-covered bark. The droplet acts as a convex lens, capturing a miniature, inverted view of the pale morning sky and soft white clouds. Surrounding the sphere, the bark displays patches of pale green and grey lichen against deep brown fissures. Soft, diffused light from an overcast sky eliminates harsh shadows, revealing the delicate texture of the web and the moisture on the wood. Negative space frames the subject, showing the isolation of the droplet. at the edge shows the precise curve of the water's surface mirroring the grey-blue horizon.
