Dawn Rally at Bidar City Hall Steps
Cold silver light from the wet season dawn washes over the stone steps of Bidar City Hall, where a crowd gathers beneath the glow of floodlights. Low-hanging clouds press against the darkened government windows, creating a heavy, gray ceiling above the scene. The wet pavement reflects the pale sky and the sharp beams of artificial light, blurring the boundary between ground and air. People stand in tight clusters on the wide staircase, their silhouettes sharp against the institutional facade. The stone surface shows deep grooves from rain, glistening under the overhead lamps. A heavy metal railing runs along the side, its surface damp and dark. The light falls across the front row, illuminating the texture of wet fabric and the rough grain of the masonry. One shadow stretches long and thin across the wet step, ending abruptly at the edge of the stone.
