Dalmatian Winter Plankton Glow on Dark Shore

Pale blue bioluminescent streaks ignite the foamy crests of dark waves rolling against a frost-covered ridgeline in Dalmatia. The water churns with microscopic light, contrasting sharply against the deep indigo of the winter sea. Above, low-hanging gray clouds press down on the scene, while the horizon glows with the amber and white dots of a distant town beginning to illuminate at dusk. The rocky shore glistens with moisture and frost, at the base of the ethereal light in a cold, tangible reality. Each breaking wave leaves a trail of electric blue sparks that fade quickly into the black water. A jagged edge of ice-clad rock anchors the foreground, reflecting the faint town lights.
