Bioluminescent Swiss Shoreline Before Dawn
by Eden Clayton
Cold moonlight washes over a dark Swiss lake shore in the still hours before dawn. The water glows with faint, scattered bioluminescence where gentle waves break against pebbles. Salt spray hangs in the air, catching the dim light as a fine mist near the waterline. Smooth stones and patches of early autumn grass line the bank, their colors muted by the low illumination. Practical lights from a distant shoreline structure cast faint, localized pools of warm glow that barely touch the water's edge. The reflection of the moon stretches across the surface, broken by the rhythmic movement of the tide. A cluster of glowing plankton clings to a wet rock in the foreground, marking the boundary between land and water. The scene remains quiet and still, with no movement other than the subtle shifting of the tide.
