Chanterelle Patch in Mossy Forest Near Ndjamena

Deep shadow envelops a cluster of golden chanterelles rising from thick, emerald moss on a terraced garden slope. The predawn darkness holds the foreground in near-blackness, while a faint rim light traces the edges of the mushroom caps and the wet leaves surrounding them. The terraced earth forms dark, stepped layers receding into the distance, fading into the gloom. Visible moisture coats the forest floor, reflecting the dim ambient light. A fine, glistening mist hangs in the air, catching the faint glow along the ridges of the terraces. The scene remains strictly within the bounds of a wet-season morning, where the damp earth and salt-laden air settle over the garden plots. at the edge is a single droplet clinging to the tip of a mushroom cap, catching the faintest glimmer of the coming dawn.
