Fresh Chanterelle Harvest Basket in Forest

Golden-orange chanterelle mushrooms cluster inside a woven wicker basket resting on damp earth. The basket sits at the edge of freshly irrigated rows where green soil glistens under bright midmorning light. Pools of white ground fog nestle in the low depressions between the furrows, softening the transition to the dense green canopy above. The mushrooms display their characteristic ridged caps and tapered stems, their vibrant color against the cool grey of the morning mist. Woven reeds of the basket show rough texture against the smooth, wet soil. one drop of water rests on the rim of a mushroom cap near the basket's edge.
