A distinct circle of tan-capped mushrooms rises from wet, dark soil in a short grass meadow under the first light of dawn. Thin raindrops rest on the green blades of grass surrounding the fungal ring, catching the low angle of the rising sun that breaks through a broken cloud band near the horizon. The ground appears saturated from a brief sun shower, reflecting a soft, hazy glow that illuminates the edges of the mushroom caps. The scene remains grounded in the local biome, showing the texture of the damp earth and the natural spacing of the grass without any artificial staging. One drop of water rolls down a nearby leaf, anchoring the moment in the wet season of Cameroon.
