Vivid azure skin wraps the neck of a cassowary standing amidst the dense greenery of a Kerala jungle. Bright open daylight floods the scene, illuminating the bird's glossy black feathers and the sharp, bony casque atop its head. The background dissolves into a soft wash of emerald leaves and dappled shadows, creating a shallow depth of field that isolates the subject. Cool season air seems to settle over the lush undergrowth, where scattered ferns and broad tropical plants frame the animal.
