Deep indigo shadows dominate the shoreline beneath a dark sky overlook near Mekele. Pale blue bioluminescence traces the water's edge, glowing faintly against the black surface. Thick mist hangs low, softening the horizon and blurring the boundary between water and sky. Rim light from an unseen source outlines the waterline, creating a thin silver thread that separates the dark masses. The turn of seasons leaves the surrounding vegetation muted and damp. A cluster of glowing algae rests against a smooth stone, marking the precise point where the water meets the land.
