Deep shadows cloak a winding mountain path near Taichung, where early winter air holds the chill of a clearing storm. From a low worm's-eye perspective, a surfer rides a wave that glows with intense blue bioluminescence, illuminating the dark trail. The water creates a stark, liquid ribbon against the rough, damp earth. Rim light traces the surfer's silhouette and the cresting water, separating the figure from the black surroundings. Droplets of water hang suspended in the air, catching the faint glow. The texture of the wet path contrasts with the smooth, glowing fluid of the wave as it moves forward with explosive kinetic energy.
