Zodiacal Light Cone Over Kyoto Plateau at Twilight

A faint, diffuse cone of pale blue-gray light ascends vertically from the dark horizon, piercing the deep indigo of the late autumn sky. Below, the dry plateau floor rests in heavy shadow, its silhouette defined by a sharp rim of twilight brightness along the ridgeline. Thin ground mist rests on the valley floor, creating a soft, gray veil that separates the earth from the starry expanse above. Sparse, dormant trees stand as dark, skeletal markers against the glowing column. The light fades gradually upward, losing definition against the cooling air. The lowest edge of the cone touches the dark silhouette of a distant pine tree, at the base of the ethereal glow in the rough texture of the Japanese plateau.
