Polished Sword on Arashiyama Ledge

Blue evening light washes over a painted wooden ledge where a curved sword rests. The steel gleams with a mirror finish, reflecting the sharp pink and orange glow of nearby neon signs. Early winter chill is absent; instead, the warm artificial light creates a cozy pocket of brightness against the cooling dark. The surface is pristine, free of dust or clutter, showing the smooth, unblemished metal. A small, intricate tsuba guard sits at the base of the blade, its pattern catching the neon reflection in a flash of red. The blade curves gently, its edge distinct against the soft blue ambient shadows of the indoor space.
