Young Shepherd Guiding Goats Through Mountain Pass at Sunrise

Early morning light breaks over the jagged ridges of a high pass near Kathmandu, illuminating the dust kicked up by hooves. A young shepherd in a thick woolen coat and traditional cap walks steadily forward, his hand resting on the back of a lead goat. The flock trails behind him, their wool matted with morning dampness and wind. Above, rows of weathered prayer flags in saffron, blue, and white snap violently against the stiff breeze, their fabric stretched taut. The sky holds a pale, cool gradient transitioning from indigo to soft gold near the horizon. Shadows stretch long and sharp across the rocky ground, highlighting the rough texture of the path and the coarse fabric of the shepherd's garments. The flags flutter rapidly, creating a rhythmic blur against the stillness of the distant peaks.
