Two wolves stretch low along a muddy game trail, muscles tense against the wet grass. Ahead, a caribou pauses, its dark fur glistening with raindrops and the surrounding vegetation turning a sharp, early-winter green-brown. The ground reflects the sky in puddles, creating a mirror of gray and white beneath the animals. Rain streaks cut through the air, visible as faint lines against the bright background. One drop slides down a wolf's snout, catching the light before disappearing into the mud.
