Silvery winter light bathes the animals' thick brown coats and the frost-dusted ground beneath them. A dark, moonlit breakwater structure rises in the immediate foreground, creating a frame-within-a-frame that isolates the wildlife against the vast horizon. The rough texture of the breakwater stones rests beside the smooth, flowing light above. Shadows fall across the snow in sharp, long lines, marking the stillness of early autumn. One caribou stands at the edge of the group, its antlers catching the faint glow of the sky while the herd remains motionless against the luminous backdrop.
