String lights hang low overhead, casting a warm amber glow that reflects off the still, dark water. Heavy, dramatic clouds press low against the deep blue sky, signaling late autumn twilight. The low angle emphasizes the height of the stone walls and the depth of the sunken space. Wet patches on the ground catch the light, creating scattered highlights against the grey masonry. A faint white foam line marks the water's edge where it meets the stone.
