Tomato Rows Silhouetted in Evening Rain

Honeyed evening light floods the field, turning the steady rain into shimmering vertical streaks that cut across the frame. Dark green tomato plants stand in a neat furrow beneath white plastic hoops, their leaves heavy with water droplets. Irrigation tape runs parallel to the plants along the freshly irrigated soil, glistening wet and dark against the reddish earth. The entire agricultural setup forms a stark silhouette against the bright, washed-out sky. Raindrops blur the edges of the white hoops, softening their rigid curves. The ground reflects the warm ambient glow, creating a glossy sheen on the mud. At the base of the nearest plant, a single raindrop rests on the tip of a leaf before sliding down into the wet soil.
