Surreal Sea Urchin Spine Base on Lichen Bark

Muted gray and white lichen patches carpet rough, weathered bark under soft overcast light. The base of a sea urchin spine rises sharply from the dark, porous test, its surface etched with microscopic ridges. In the background, a ceiling dissolves into a dense canopy of giant, suspended lanterns glowing with faint internal light, hanging motionless above the specimen. The lanterns appear as solid, tangible objects rather than distant sky elements, casting a diffuse, cool glow that reflects subtly off the damp floor. Shallow depth of field blurs the distant lanterns while keeping the spine's texture razor-sharp. One shadow falls beneath the urchin test, at the base of the impossible floating lights in the quiet indoor space.
