Surreal Flash Flood Fog Canyon Abu Dhabi

Thick white fog fills the lower third of a wide valley floor near Abu Dhabi, ending abruptly in a knife-sharp horizontal line. Above this impossible boundary, a flash flood carves a narrow, dark canyon through the desert sand. The canyon walls rise steeply, their rough textures and deep shadows clearly defined against the bright, soft overcast sky. Late summer heat is absent from the visual evidence, replaced by the cool, diffused light of midmorning. The desert surface beyond the canyon appears dry and vast, stretching toward a perfectly clear horizon. The contrast between the dense, opaque fog below and the sharp, sunlit rock formations above creates a stark division.
