Striped Desert Valley Under Indigo Twilight Sky
Vivid bands of ochre, rust, and pale sandstone stripe the rolling desert floor, stretching across a wide valley near Abu Dhabi. The midsummer heat has faded into indigo twilight, leaving the rock layers in deep shadow while their upper edges catch the last faint light. Above, dramatic clouds swell with dark purple and charcoal tones, their undersides illuminated by a distant town glow on the horizon. The town lights appear as a soft, scattered ribbon of amber and white, against the cool blue of the sky. The valley floor is textured with fine sand and scattered stones, leading toward the glowing horizon. A sharp shadow from a low rock ridge falls across the foreground sand, at the base of the vast, still landscape.
