Silhouetted Striped Hyena in Icelandic Snow Mist

Thick gray mist blankets a frozen Icelandic landscape where a striped hyena moves across a crust of snow. The low, diffuse light of the midnight sun creates a flat, silver glow that turns the animal into a dark silhouette against the pale background. Its striped coat is barely visible as shadowed bands along the flank. In the distance, a flock of birds scatters upward, their wings breaking the stillness of the air. The ground shows textured ridges of wind-swept ice. The hyena pauses mid-stride, head lowered, with its tail hanging straight down. A faint outline of the horizon disappears into the fog, leaving only the dark shape of the creature and the sudden flight of the birds against the endless white.
