Rowing Shell on Misty Dawn Water Near Méagui

Rain streaks fall steadily across the surface of flat water, creating a textured veil of gray ripples. A long, slender rowing shell rests low in the water, its dark hull reflecting the pale, diffused light of early morning. The vessel sits along a switchback approach where earth meets the lake edge, surrounded by the muted greens of the dry season landscape. Mist hangs low, softening the distant shoreline and blending the water line with the sky. Raindrops strike the glassy surface, sending tiny concentric circles outward from each impact point. One water droplet rests on the tip of the oarlock, trembling before falling back into the gray expanse.
