White Sail on Dark Fjord at Dawn in Ecuador

Rain streaks fall vertically across the dark, glassy surface of a fjord, creating a textured veil over the water. One white sail rises starkly against the deep indigo of the channel, its fabric catching the first horizontal rays of sunrise. Above, a ridge overlooks layered foothills that fade into mist, their slopes covered in dense, green vegetation turning toward the season's shift. The light breaks through the gray sky, illuminating the wet canvas of the sail while the surrounding water remains in shadow. Small ripples disturb the surface where raindrops strike, and the edge of the sail casts a thin, sharp reflection on the dark water below.
