Rime Ice Coating Wire Fence Over Norwegian Thunderheads

Sharp, white rime ice clings to thin steel wires, forming jagged, translucent crystals that catch the flat noon glare. The metal strands stretch horizontally across the frame, heavily encrusted with frozen moisture that obscures the wire's original smooth surface. Below the ice-laden fence, a vast expanse of stacked thunderheads fills the background, their gray and charcoal undersides against the bright white frost. The sky above remains a uniform, pale overcast, diffusing light evenly across the frozen texture. Deep winter stillness holds the mountain air, freezing the water vapor into a rigid, crystalline layer that drapes the grid. The ice edges catch the light, creating a sharp boundary between the white frost and the dark storm clouds below.
