Rain Shaft and Wind Turbines in Iceland Summer

Green moss clings to dark volcanic rocks in the foreground, illuminated by shafts of dappled sunlight filtering through sparse, low-lying arctic vegetation. A dense column of rain falls vertically in the middle distance, stark against the gray, fast-moving cloud bands overhead. Three massive wind turbines stand on the ridgeline, their blades blurred by the speed of the whipping wind. The wet ground reflects the pale afternoon sky, creating a mirror of silver and slate. Mist swirls around the turbine bases where the air is thick with moisture. at the edge shows water droplets clinging to a single blade of grass, heavy and trembling.
