Crimson Japanese Maple in Icelandic Mist

Bright, flat noon light washes over a solitary Japanese maple standing in a vast, misty landscape. The tree bursts with deep crimson leaves, creating a sharp contrast against the pale, white-gray fog that obscures the horizon. Thick moisture hangs in the air, softening the edges of the branches and turning the background into a seamless expanse of white. The ground beneath the tree is barely visible, hidden by the low-hanging cloud layer. The vibrant red foliage appears almost glowing against the dull, overcast sky. At the very bottom of the frame, a small patch of dark, wet moss rests on the earth where the roots meet the ground.
