Toboggan Flying Over Snow Bump in Iceland

Deep shadow dominates the packed-snow causeway where a wooden toboggan hovers mid-air above a raised bump. A sharp rim of pale morning light outlines the sled's curved runners and the rider's crouched silhouette against the dark ice. The arctic summer sky stretches perfectly clear and pale blue overhead, casting no direct illumination on the track. Below the airborne sled, the wet, glazed surface of the course mirrors the dark form, creating a symmetrical composition where the reflection appears as a second toboggan suspended in the snow. Fine texture marks the wind-scoured ice around the jump, while the distant horizon fades into a flat, gray expanse. The reflection's edge remains perfectly crisp, doubling the visual weight of the moment.
