A clear glass prism rests on rough, sun-bleached white paper, splitting soft midday light into a sharp, horizontal band of spectral colors. The red edge glows faintly against the stark paper surface while violet fades into the shadow of the glass base. Behind this foreground stillness, a vast horizon stretches out under a perfectly clear sky. Stacked thunderheads rise in the distance, their gray bases heavy and textured against the blue expanse. The dry season air leaves the landscape looking arid and resilient, with no clouds obscuring the view above the storm clouds. The paper lies flat on dry, dusty earth, anchoring the vibrant light display to the rugged terrain. The spectrum ends abruptly where the prism's edge cuts the light.
