Night Tulips Rim Lit Forest Floor

Deep shadows cloak the fern-lined forest floor near Nairobi, where a single row of tulips stands in stark relief. Alternating red and yellow blooms catch a sharp rim light that traces their curved petals against the darkness. Heavy wet-season clouds loom overhead, their texture visible in the faint ambient glow. The fern fronds spread flat and dark around the flowers, creating a natural border. The red petals appear saturated while the yellow ones glow softly at the edges. A thin line of cool blue light separates the flower heads from the black soil beneath them.
