Bright midmorning light reflects off nearby water, illuminating a cluster of red poppies swaying on a fern-lined forest floor near Galata, Istanbul. The early autumn air holds gentle snowflakes falling through the air, settling on the vibrant red petals and the green fronds of the surrounding ferns. Layers of depth recede from the foreground flowers into the darker, shadowed trees of the background. The contrast between the warm reflected sunlight and the cool white snow creates a dynamic visual texture across the scene.
