Muddy Storm Drain Stack in Bhaktapur Morning

Soft overcast light from a heavy sky washes over a muddy site access road near Bhaktapur, revealing a storm-drain inlet-filter stack built from galvanized steel and timber. The metal grates show signs of wear, while a heavy chain links the structure to a nearby wooden post. Spray paint marks in faded blue and yellow streak across the wet earth and the lower steel sections. Mud coats the base of the timber beams, against the dull gray of the overcast sky above. The composition uses the road's edge and the linear alignment of the drain components to guide the gaze forward. A distinct patch of dried mud rests on the corner of the galvanized steel, highlighting the texture of the construction materials.
