Melting Tower on Wet Tidal Flat Sunset

Rain streaks fall vertically across a vast expanse of wet, dark sand on the Hochelaga shoreline. The sky glows with fading orange and purple light before nightfall. A rigid concrete tower stands in the middle ground, yet its upper structure melts like thick wax, dripping slowly into the tidal water below. The liquid metal pools around the base, reflecting the last sunset hues. Layers of depth recede from the foreground ripples to the distant, rain-hazed horizon. Early autumn grasses bend slightly along the water's edge. at the edge is a single droplet of molten concrete hanging from the tower's twisted edge, suspended just above the pooling surface.
