Majestic Eland Bull in Morning Mist

A heavy-set eland bull stands knee-deep in shallow tidal water, its coat dark and slick with monsoon rain. Low morning sun pierces the gray horizon haze, casting long, soft shadows across the wet mudflats. Fine drizzle creates a shimmering veil around the animal, blurring the distant mangrove roots. Water droplets rest on the spiral horns and ripple across the brown fur. The low angle emphasizes the bull's massive shoulders against the pale, misty sky. One droplet rolls from the tip of a wet ear into the dark water below.
