Kerala Cliff Silhouette at First Light

Pale turquoise mist hovers over the deep blue sea, softening the horizon line where the water meets the sky. A steep chalk cliff face rises vertically, its white surface turned into a dark, sharp silhouette against the emerging morning sun. Above the rock, thick green turf rests on the plateau, textured and vibrant even in shadow. The first rays of sunrise strike the upper edge of the cliff, creating a thin rim of golden light that separates the land from the haze. Wind-sculpted grasses bend slightly along the ridge, showing the isolation of the coast. One patch of wet rock near the base reflects the pale sky, at the base of the vertical expanse in the damp air of the wet season.
