Horseshoe Crab on Rain-Washed Busan Shore

Soft midmorning light diffuses across a kelp-fringed shelf near Huinnyeoul, Busan, illuminating a horseshoe crab resting on wet sand. Late spring rain leaves the beach glistening under a pale sky. The crab's smooth, dark carapace reflects the exceptionally clear water lapping at the shoreline. Slow-moving surface ripples distort the view of submerged kelp fronds drifting in the shallow tide. Sunlight penetrates the translucent water, highlighting the texture of the wet gravel and the intricate ridges on the creature's shell. Beside the crab, clusters of dark seaweed rest on the rocks, their edges sharp against the bright, wet sand. one drop of water rests on the tip of a nearby kelp blade, trembling before falling back into the shallow pool.
