Hermit Crab Shell Amidst Seagrass Sydney

Bright midmorning sunlight penetrates the clear water, illuminating a hermit crab resting on a spiraled shell. The creature anchors itself above a dense meadow of green seagrass blades that sway gently near the Sydney coastline. Fine suspended particles glitter throughout the blue column, catching the tropical light in scattered points of brilliance. The shell displays a textured surface of muted browns and creams, against the cool, deep blue surrounding the subject. Shadows fall softly across the seagrass, defining the depth of the underwater meadow. A small bubble rests on the edge of the shell, highlighting the stillness of the water.
