Honduran Ruin Balcony Over Pines

Hard coastal glare strikes a crumbling stone balcony perched high above a dense canopy of black pines. The late afternoon sun bleaches the weathered masonry, highlighting deep fissures in the gray blocks while casting sharp, angular shadows across the empty room behind. Wisps of white fog drift through the open archways, caught in a wind that rustles the pine needles far below. The rainy season leaves the stone damp and darkened in patches, against the bright, washed-out sky. A jagged edge of the balcony railing juts into the frame, its rough texture standing firm against the encroaching green and gray mist.
