Pale amber membranes stretch across the frame, their translucent walls catching the low, warm light of an autumn afternoon. The citrus slice rests on a smooth, uncluttered surface within a split seed pod, the rough inner texture of the pod against the delicate fruit flesh. Golden rays filter through the air, illuminating tiny droplets clinging to the juice sacs. Negative space surrounds the subject, showing the intricate geometric patterns of the segments. Shadows fall softly to the right, at the base of the object in the room. at the edge is the sharp, white edge of a segment membrane glowing against the deep shadow of the pod.
