The moss appears damp, with individual dew droplets clinging to its fuzzy texture, suggesting an early autumn morning. Soft, diffuse light from a high window washes over the composition, casting quiet, gray shadows along the pale walls of the indoor space. The fruit's white pith contrasts sharply with the deep green of the organic substrate. Tiny water beads refract the light, creating microscopic highlights on the moss blades. One dewdrop rests on a leaf tip at the bottom right edge.
