Backlit Kiwi Slice on Lichen Bark Twilight

Grazing light cuts through a cross-section of kiwi fruit resting on rough, green-tinged lichen. The translucent flesh glows amber and lime, revealing the radial cluster of tiny black seeds against the dark void. Moist surfaces reflect the low angle illumination, showing the jelly-like texture of the pulp. The bark beneath shows deep fissures and patches of pale crust, against the smooth, wet cut of the fruit. Negative space surrounds the subject, isolating the microscopic detail. A faint shadow falls across the lower edge of the slice, grounding it firmly on the uneven organic surface.
