Passion Fruit Cross Section on Lichen Bark

Vibrant violet pulp fills the hollowed interior of a sliced passion fruit, resting directly against rough, grey-green lichen that clings to weathered bark. Pale yellow seeds cluster densely within translucent sacs, their glossy surfaces catching faint, diffuse light bouncing from nearby walls. The cut edge reveals fibrous white pith separating the dark rind from the juicy center. Soft shadows pool around the base where the fruit meets the textured ground. Muted reflections stretch across the damp floor beneath, mirroring the quiet stillness of the early morning. one drop of juice beads at the rim of the fruit, holding the light in a tiny, perfect sphere.
