Hard late-afternoon sunlight strikes a solitary ginkgo tree perched on a rugged cliff edge, illuminating fan-shaped leaves in vivid gold against a pale winter sky. The tree stands resilient amidst salt-sprayed rock formations, its branches shedding a cascade of golden foliage toward the ground. Below, thick ground fog pools in the crevices of the cliff face, obscuring the base and creating a soft, white void beneath the stark branches. The leaves display a crisp, papery texture, some caught mid-fall while others rest on the weathered stone. One leaf clings to a branch tip, glowing against the bright glare of the sun.
