Bright golden fan-shaped ginkgo leaves drift downward against a backdrop of deep green ferns carpeting the forest floor in Mizoram. Midday sunlight falls through the canopy above, creating a mosaic of sharp, dappled light patches and cool shadows across the textured ground. The dry season air leaves the fern fronds crisp and upright, while heavy, dramatic clouds gather in the sky visible at the tree line, casting a stark contrast against the warm yellow foliage.
