Golden Ginkgo in Saskatchewan Meadow
A solitary ginkgo tree stands isolated in a vast, flat meadow under a heavy, uniform gray sky. Its canopy displays a dense cluster of bright yellow fan-shaped leaves that glow against the dull, overcast background. The ground stretches out in all directions, covered in dry, brown grasses that indicate late autumn. Hard, white light from a high sun creates sharp, dark shadows beneath the branches, cutting through the soft gray haze. The horizon line sits low, showing the immense height of the tree and the emptiness of the surrounding prairie. A few fallen leaves rest on the parched earth near the trunk, their edges crisp and distinct against the muted soil tones.
