Early summer light reflects off the nearby water, illuminating a cluster of ancient oaks standing beside weathered stones draped in thick green moss. The trees root into the damp earth of a salt-sprayed cliff edge near Essen, their bark rough and dark against the pale stone. Gentle snowflakes drift downward, resting momentarily on the coarse moss and the low-hanging branches before vanishing. The scene holds a hushed stillness, with open negative space framing the grove against the bright, shimmering water surface. The stones rise from the ground like silent sentinels, their surfaces softened by decades of lichen and winter precipitation.
