Soft overcast light diffuses through the water column, turning the volcanic drop-off beside Salvador into a deep blue gradient. A freediver hangs suspended in the mid-water, their dark silhouette stark against the faint, vertical shafts of sun rays penetrating from above. The water holds exceptional clarity, revealing the rough, dark texture of the volcanic rock wall rising on the right. Slow-moving surface ripples distort the light slightly, creating a shimmering, rhythmic pattern across the diver's fins. The scene shows the stillness of the turn of seasons, where the horizon line remains a soft, hazy boundary between the deep blue void and the pale sky. A thin layer of silt rests on the rocky ledge near the bottom, catching the faintest glow of the submerged light.
