Fossil Beach Terrace Twilight Reflections San Francisco

Cool blue hour light washes over a raised beach terrace where ancient fossils emerge from dark, wind-sculpted sandstone. Heavy, dramatic clouds stack low across the sky, their gray and indigo tones mirrored perfectly in a shallow pool of seawater at the terrace's edge. The fossils appear as pale, ribbed ridges contrasting against the deepening shadows of the rock face. Wind-carved textures define the uneven surface, leading toward the horizon where the ocean meets the sky. A thin line of white foam rests along the water's edge, separating the solid rock from the liquid reflection that doubles the cloudy sky above. at the edge is the sharp, dark silhouette of a fossil ridge cutting through the blue water's mirror.
